Description: Performed full site design along with boundary and topographic surveying for the 30+ acre retail development. Site included 15+ acres of dune swale wetlands, some of which were eliminated and mitigated, but most were left intact thereby necessitating a timber boardwalk crossing for effective pedestrian traffic flow. In keeping with local impervious pavement ordinances, pervious pavers were used in over 50% of parking spaces. The finished stormwater management system, including infiltration beds and pervious pavement, results in zero stormwater discharges, except during tropical storm level events. Project also included design of all site utilities, and acquisition of all permits and jurisdictional approvals.
